Hosting SWYAA International Global Assemblies

SWYAA 4th Global Assembly in 2010
We hosted the SWYAA International Global Assembly in 2020. The event was attended by Egyptian members and 165 members from 23 countries. The event was hosted by the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports.
SWYAA 16th Global Assembly in 2025
SWYAA Egypt is hosting the SWYAA International Global Assembly in Cairo & Alexandria from November 22nd till November 27th. Theme is “5000 years of history” represented through highlights from ancient Egyptian, Greco-Roman, Coptic & Islamic Egypt.
Get Ready for the 16th SWYAA Global Assembly in EGYPT!
SWYAA Egypt is honored to host the 16th SWYAA Global Assembly. This event will consist of an official program that will take place November 22–27, 2025 in Cairo & Alexandria and an optional tour that will take place between November 27 & December 1st, 2025 on a ship cruising between Aswan and Luxor.
About SWYAA Egypt
SWYAA Egypt is the official non-profit association of Egyptian alumni of the Ship for World Youth (SWY), an international youth leadership development program organized by the government of Japan. As part of the global SWYAA network, we promote intercultural understanding, leadership development, and active citizenship. We collaborate with the Egyptian Ministry of Youth & Sports, the Japanese Embassy in Egypt, the International Youth Exchange Organization (IYEO) of the Japanese government, and all the SWYAA associations in different countries to maintain the SWY spirit forward.
