Cruise Ship

We will sail from Aswan to Luxor onboard M/S A Sara, a five stars cruise ship.

We have chartered the entire cruise ship (68 rooms). Places were reserved based on first come first served basis. We have more applicants on a waiting list.

Registration

Applications will be received together with the application for the Official Program. It is possible to apply for the Optional Tour without applying for the Official Program.

What is included and what is excluded?

• The participation fee includes:

• Transportation from hotel to train station on the start day of Optional Tour (November 27th).

• Train ticket from Cairo to Luxor (27 Nov.)

• Accommodation for 3 nights onboard the cruise ship (check-in 28 Nov., check-out 1 Dec.).

• Supper (box) on the train on 27 Nov.

• Breakfast, lunch and dinner on the cruise ship starting lunch on 28 Nov. until breakfast 1 Dec.

• Lunch in Luxor on 1 Dec.

• All transportation during the program.

• English speaking guides during tours.

• All entrance fees for visits planned during the program.

• Flight from Luxor to Cairo (1 Dec.).

Please note that the participation fee does not include:

• Any personal travel to and from Cairo.

• Your personal travel and health insurance.

• Medical expenses.

• Visas necessary for entry into Egypt.

• Lunch during the free day on 27 Nov.

• Dinner after completing the program on 1 Dec.

• Incidental charges at the cruise ship (mini bar, laundry, calls. etc.).

• Bank transfer fees for when you make the payment.

• Accommodation before the beginning of the program or after the end of the program. Note that the program ends when you arrive at Cairo airport on the night of 1 December. If you are not flying from Cairo airport a few hours after we land, you will need to book your own accommodation and arrange your own transportation from airport to hotel.

• Any drinks/beverages (only water will be served with meals)

• Additional personal expenses.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation until 12 October, 2025 will be subject to a 20% cancellation charge.

  Cancellation between 13 and 23 October, 2025 will be subject to a 45% cancellation charge applied to the total amount per person.

  Cancellation between 24 October and 7 November will be subject to 70% charge of the total amount per Person.

  Starting from 8 November no refund can be made in the case of cancellation.

• Bank fees associated with the refund transfers will be for the participant’s account.

• Bulk cancellation may not be possible and in the unlikely situation it happens, the possibility of refund will be subject to negotiation with the accommodation and travel providers and could be unachievable.

Return Flights

We will be flying back from Luxor to Cairo International Airport (CAI) on the evening of Monday, 1st December. Please be conservative and allow a few hours between your return to Cairo and the departure of your return flight back home.

No hotel accommodation in Cairo is included. If you are not leaving in the early hours of Monday, 1st December, you may want to book an extra night. If you do, we recommend you stay in a hotel close to the airport. We are looking for good deals and will add details here around mid August.

Optional Tour Fees

The joining fees for the Optional Tour will be:
