Cruise Ship & Number of participants

We will sail from Aswan to Luxor onboard M/S A Sara, a five stars cruise ship.

We have secured places for 100 participants (in double rooms) in the Nile Cruise. Places will be reserved based on first come first served basis. If we have more applicants we will maintain a waiting list and will attempt to negotiate additional rooms with the Cruise operator. Note that the maximum ship capacity is 120 passengers, so we cannot go above that number of participants.

Registration

Registration will take place together with the registration for the Official Program at the times mentioned above. It is possible to register for the Optional Tour without registering for the Official Program.

What is included and what is excluded?

• The participation fee includes:

• Transportation from hotel to train station on the start day of Optional Tour (November 27th).

• Train ticket from Cairo to Luxor (27 Nov.)

• Accommodation for 3 nights onboard the cruise ship (check-in 28 Nov., check-out 1 Dec.).

• Supper (box) on the train on 27 Nov.

• Breakfast, lunch and dinner on the cruise ship starting lunch on 28 Nov. until breakfast 1 Dec.

• Lunch in Luxor on 1 Dec.

• All transportation during the program.

• English speaking guides during tours.

• All entrance fees for visits planned during the program.

• Flight from Luxor to Cairo (1 Dec.).

Please note that the participation fee does not include:

• Any personal travel to and from Cairo.

• Your personal travel and health insurance.

• Medical expenses.

• Visas necessary for entry into Egypt.

• Lunch during the free day on 27 Nov.

• Dinner after completing the program on 1 Dec.

• Incidental charges at the cruise ship (mini bar, laundry, calls. etc.).

• Bank transfer fees for when you make the payment.

• Accommodation before the beginning of the program or after the end of the program. (We can help you with reservation if required)

• Any drinks/beverages (only water will be served with meals)

• Additional personal expenses.

Cancellation Policy

• Detailed cancellation policy to be confirmed

• Bank fees associated with the refund transfers will be for the participant’s account.

• Bulk cancellation may not be possible and in the unlikely situation it happens, the possibility of refund will be subject to negotiation with the accommodation and travel providers and could be unachievable.

Return Flights

We will be flying back from Luxor to Cairo International Airport (CAI) on the evening of Monday, 1st December. Please be conservative and allow a few hours between your return to Cairo and the departure of your return flight back home.

Optional Tour Fees

The joining fees for the Optional Tour will be:
